Very Nice... OK I go to art college so bear with me The editing was REALLY nice. I could tell you probably spent hours getting that 13 seconds because it is synced up with la musica perfectly. I'm assuming all of it is found footage, very abstract making me relate to images of rope, explosions, clouds, and walls. Embodies the energy of the song and it's good to see some black and white stuff. My first reaction was that the video was too contrasty, but then the hand part came in and comparing it with that section I felt differently. The hand section in general may fit to the music, but it distracts me the most for many reasons. All of the other stuff appears as found footage, and then the hand section seems like something you shot yourself. That's not a bad thing, but I think the hand part seems video and everything else seems film. Astheticly the hand part needs some grain, texture like the rest. I can also notice your hand in manipulating the hand[pun intended] maybe in after effects to get the striped graphic quality. Also the hand itself, is very recognizable. It's a hand, nothing different where as all the other imagery makes me wonder and try to associate with things even if they aren't true. I like wondering, more than the obvious things. I think the video is really good, and I hope you finish it and post again. |

i agree with you on a lot of aspects, but i do feel that the hand is great! it fits so perfectly with the stops of the flow of the song... i fucking love the video! and i can never get enought black and white! if i sent u a song that i made do u think you could do a vid for it? just for fun? let me send u what i have of the song so far (everything but some last minute polish, and some vox), then u could give me ur answer. hope to talk to u soon about this! |

very nice... hope you're gonna post more as you get it completed... Love the way you've used BlackNWhite...all my recent paintings have been in BnW and one shade of grey, it's a great way to work and it's so nice to get away from our overly coloured world... Keep up the good work and pls post more... |

But the plan is to do the entire song, so that will take quite a bit longer. When finished, it'll most likely not look exactly like this clip. "I'm assuming all of it is found footage" Nope, all original (except for the music). "if i sent u a song that i made do u think you could do a vid for it?" Sure, I'll check it out, but you'll probably have to send a URL and not a file. My mail account can't handle 8MB :( |

Yeah B&W with just one other colour (say dark red or navy) looks very good. |

It's very good. I like the effect that looks like a wave of white breaking over the camera. The video also loops pretty well too, probably because the music just starts back up straight away. |

yeah I noticed that loop as well...had to recheck the time as I thought it was all the same track but I'd been thru it twice... I hope jillion comes back and tells us more about his work... |
