I've got a Roland digital 8-track, the 880 with a zip-drive, and its a piece of piss to use and has really mad powerful effects . . . I'd recommend it to anyone. I love it. I might marry it.

Yeah it was a bit expensive (£1000), but I'd just come into a bit of money . . . Besides if all your other equipment is a bit crap (like mine), a good digital 8 track and powerful effects unit can make it all sound like top kit, so its a saving in the long run blah blah blah . . . You be able to pick them up second hand now for pretty cheap.

yes but i'm from switzerland....the peoples here likes only trance and house......they got'nt taste for music....so you can't find good second hand equipment....only software.....if you want hardware....you must purchase new stuff....that is that what i hate here in this pony-style country..... i never was at London....but i will go there asap.

Fuck no, don't come to London. I'm there as we type. It is hell on earth, and a very expensive hell at that. I'd recommend Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Birmingham . . . Any major UK city over London. Steer well clear mate. . .
I'm sure the attacks from loyal Londoners are but seconds away . . .

London's okay for a visit, but after a couple of days you want to kill everyone . . . Cornwall's lush, as is Ireland. Bath is worth a visit as well if you make it here. God, I sound like the Tourist Board.

I think London's New York; the sort of place people love to visit but wouldn't want to live there. Bath is good. Bristol is ace though, as long as you go to the nice parts. Some parts are as rough as f*@k

It's no exaggeration to say it's how I imagined the Bronx or some other fucked up U.S. ghetto to be like . . . Pure evil, drug raids every night, police hiding in hedges everywhere, people hassling you every time you leave the house . . . I would recommend it to anyone.

Monsoir John,
I don't believe I said that there was anything wrong with being a being from London.
I simply said that I have met a few cockney wankers. I have met some other wankers, but most wankers I have met have been cockneys / cockheads.
I am a Geordie, not all Geordies are stupid cunts.
I once ran into a wire fence whilst pissed in Spain running away from security guards who threatened to shoot us after pulling moonies and smacking eachother on the arse with a road sign. I ran into the fence and bounced off "Tom and Jerry" style. I woke up and I had the shape of the fence imprinted onto my face.
Hence - I am sometimes a stupid cunt. (Only after drinking Sangria)

i've begun to make music. i need more equipment though. i've been wanting to get an akai sampler though, either an s1000 or s2000, depends on how much funds i have. i'd also like to get an akai ax-60 with a polyphony of six. the ax-80 came after with eight polyphony, but it hardly has any slider or knobs if any, unlike the ax-60 with twiddly stuff for everything about.
