Eat Your Own Ears this Friday and Next this Friday (May 17th - 8pm - 2am) at 93 Feet East (150 Brick Lane, E1) Eat Your Own Ears and Tokyo / UK based label PLAY present: Fila Brazillia (aka Steve Cobby) takes to the decks to play a mix of mesmerising, cinematic music and bubbling rustic funk. Pressure Drop make a rare DJ appearance as they play a mixture of tearing trouble-funk, pounding hip hop beats, soul and rare grooves. The legendary Depth Charge/ J. Saul Kane will be spinning selections from his DC Recordings imprint. The Mighty Quark make a very special appearance with a live set of Futuristic Dub, Electro/Techno. Quante Jubila feature two core members, PLAY label A+R director Jeff Hammond and bassist Takuya Matsumoto fly in from Japan especially to play a live set of latin rhythms, funk, dub and electro.
