Please don't resort to stooping to other people's levels just to exact retribution.. IMO, the next poll should be on whether to keep the points system. I personally don't care that much if it stays or goes but if it stays people will predictably feel they have some kind of higher right because they've made more posts or been around longer. What matters is what you continue putting into the community to keep it going, not what you did. I think people are losing things to talk about round here, we really need P-X. |

Don't take away points! I've got so damn many! :-) Seriously, who here is just posting for points and nothing else? I can't name anybody, I seriously doubt anyone cares about points that much... who posts one liners constantly just to get status? NOBODY!!!! |

heheh... why are points such a big deal? theyre not really an accurate status symbol...just an indication as to how often someone posts...not some sort of seniority status..hell..nacmat was a wizard after a like a month of posting here... remember..its just an internet messageboard...a place to have fun discussing things with likeminded people...not a hierachical kingdom or something...its funny how people form that mentality..same thing with games like counterstrike.."i started playing a month before you! bow down and kiss my virtual boots!,n00b!" and im not sure why people would start posting for the specific purpose of getting more points...usually if i make multiple posts to say the same thing..its because i remembered something i wanted to add after hitting reply... |
