I'm currently wallowing in a horrible debt, and it really
sucks. Bad. I owe $1600 to the property managment comp,
$1500 to the police, and $600 in court fines. I'm now
working full time, and all my checks pretty much go to these
causes. The only money I have for myself is from donating
plasma twice a week, and for the first time in along time
I'm really starting to not enjoy my life much. Anyone out
there feelin me?

That sucks. Life tends to suck when you have
responsibilites, that's the impression I get. That makes me
sad. I don't want responsibilities, mommy!!!

I feel for ya mate...In a similar boat myself and it's a
fucking worry!...

But then again, everyone I know is in debt so even tho it
feels like a huge weight, it doesn't need to be....step back
a bit and ask yourself whether it's worth worrying about it
so much that you "no longer enjoy life" because of it...

You sound as if you're doing everything you can to get rid
of the debt so shouldn't be too long before you can forget
about it anyway...keep focused on that and don't let the
fuckers drag you down, my friend...

my wife's aunt is paying off her credit card -- but because
of the interest, she only ends up paying off the accrued
interest -- so unless she strikes it rich, she'll be dead
and still owe the same fucking amount :(

start a cash pyramid !!! seriously !

tell your family/friends/neighbours to "Invest" $xxx in a
guaranteed double-your money scheme. They then get $xxxx
back after convincing 2 or more of THEIR acquaintances to
invest too. By the time you and your 1st generation
investors are rolling in it , the 2nd and 3rd generation
investors are scrambling to induct 4th generation investors
to double their own money !!! Eventually somewhere down the
line a big fuckload of gullible people you've never met will
lose out when the pyramid collapses (ie when the police
investigate & publicise through the media)

Meanwhile , you and your mates are living it up, or paying
off your debts !!

This happened recently in Lancashire in the UK and the
police couldn't do a thing, because no laws were being
broken! : )

Lots of people though, Smokehammer, have been screwed over
by these schemes haven't they?

That'd be my luck!

I've never heard of one of those schemes working.

I'd never try it either.

Grr! That makes me mad. There should be a rule about the
total maximum %age you should be liable for in debt, like
the most you can EVER have to pay back is 150% of the
original loan.

It's the accrued interest (and different rate of interest on
accrued interest in some cases) that makes people hopelessly
in debt to loan sharks.

I don't see how anyone who does this sort of money lending
for a living can live with themselves....

Only donating plasma twice a week? You could probably do it
four or five times a week.

You might feel a bit weak from doing that but don't let it
bother you.

yeah i agree Ceri - its sickening -- that the governments
allow this sort of shit to go down is puke-making :(
