good day everyone.
I'm getting a lot of feedback (from here too) saying i should be signed to a label. Any suggestions where i should be sending my record?

go to all the record labels you know of and look in their link sections, youll find tons of other labels and jsut send your stuff to everyone, I would say that is your best bet (not that im an expert or anything)

Look on the website for any label you plan on sending a demo out to. Some will tell you what they look for in prospective signings, and whether or not they are looking. If they do not include that info, email them and ask. If they do not respond, chances are they are not looking, and would be pissed to recieve something unsoliceted.
When you are sending out a demo, try to keep it under 4 trax. They will frequently pass over submisions that look too long. Use your best material, best song for the first track. Remember you are sending out a demo and not an album. If your demo interests them, chances are they will ask to hear more.
Anyways... thats what I know about sending out demo's. Good luck.

personally form what I have heard of your music..it seemed perfectly suited for NINJA TUNES...the home of Amon Tobin, Coldcut, DJ Food, Funki Porcini etc...

Funki Porcini is the Dude.
Amon Tobin aint half bad either.
Luke Vibert is on Ninja Too. As well as Mu. And Mo Wax. And Nothing (altho I am pretty sure that is just distro).

Yeah... definately went out on limb with that album... its way too acid jazz for the hardcore IDM hedz, and way to avante garde for the downtempo types.
Venus is such an amazing song.

See?;
Funki Porcini - Love, Pussycats and Carwrecks Album - Released June 17, 1996 on Ninja Tune.
This is definetely a disappointment after Hed Phone Sex. It has a few good songs, with a jazzy feel, but you can't help thinking that he ran out of ideas and just played tinny breakbeats over and over for fifty minutes.
"The music is often played at a high tempo, and in my opinion, it suffers due to this. It is like an irreverent gabba album at times, or a jazz album recorded at 33 1/3 and played at 78, to paraphrase Charles M. Schulz. Also, there is little in the way of memorable melody. The album occasionally seems to consist of rythmless percussion and little else.
"However, some people love this album, so don't just take my word for it.
"Rating = 4 out of 10"
