whether or not you like his new direction skills, you have
to admit rjyan kidwell's production skills are just getting
better and better. case in point: "good morning universe"
from his upcoming album. i don't know if cex himself is
rapping or if it's exclusively guests, but he laid down one
of the best hip-hop beats i've heard in a long time, and
this guy's my age(!). the guitar ending (played by cex
himself; more guitar to come on his 'being ridden' album
apparently) is a very nice touch. anyway, props to cex for
continuing his evolution as an artist.

Yeah, as I've posted tons of times before I hated Cex
because I was only exposed to his live repetetive rapping.
Then I came here and heard people talking about him and I
was like What the fuck? I got two of his albums and now I
see. I think Cex is one of my favourite IDM artists. He may
suck live but he has awesome production skills. He's a
ghetto rap star stuck in a white IDM prodigy's body. What is
this new song? Where'd you hear it etc.

I was pretty impressed by his production skill on one of the
older albums..Role Model I think..If the bastards getting
any better he's got this aging musician several shades of
green with envy ;)

new one's on soulseek. i just emailed cex's PR and she said
shit's not even due till late july. someone fucked up.
anyway, if you like it - buy it.
