Something new on drukqs.com

Super Magnetic Neo from Australia on 2001-07-07 08:36 [#00012971]

I just checked drukqs.com and it's changed. The first pills
have been replaced with two new ones with the writing
"SQUIBB 929" and "drukqs".

What does it mean? Maybe "SQUIBB 929" is a track from
drukqs?

And click on the pills and this guy talks!! Weird.

While loading the page down the bottom where it says
"Internet zone" (I'm using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 on
a Mac) there is this name "miketompson". Anyone know who he
is? This is getting bizarre!!

"Mike Thompson" it should read. Not Mike Tompson.

Squibb's a pharmaceutical company.

I just saw the changes to drukqs.com and got a bit curious.
I looked at the source code to the page and noticed it was
hosted under the address
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/mickthompson/drukqs and the
directory underneath containes a site for a certain "MCA
Research" consultancy. I'm not sure who Mick Thompson or
MCA Research is, but I have a good feeling the drukqs.com
site which it houses is not in any way connected with the
official album release. But then again..

it's british i think and pretty muffled but sounds something
like this:
"i'd do anything really, i would, i would do anything"

he just needs his squibb 929, lousy "drukqsers" heeh

There is a movie if you click on Johns Not Mad

gavistimo from Glasgow on 2001-07-08 16:40 [#00013185]

Hey!! On the website drukqs.com If you click on John`s not
Mad an MPEG starts downloading. It`s this kid with his mum
in a supermarket. It looks as if it`s taken from a behaviour
documentry. The narrator says "John tries to stop himself
from calling his mother a slut" and then he goes "SLUT!".
After which he says that he needs a big lightbulb for his
bedroom! He says it in a Glasgow accent I think. What`s it
all about. It`s well fucking barmy!!! I think AFX is doing
very well at generating some mad mystique around all this
shit. It`s well mad! Anyways i thought i`d just let you
know!
