Yeah, but don't bother with a retrofit (if you can get one), they cost the same as the synth

Check everything on it first. $65 sounds really suspicious. There could be circuitry missing/toasted, knobs or sliders that won't respond or outputs that are wasted. If it's only slightly damaged, then that's a really nice deal.
