does anyone else's twoism mp3s sound unnaturally damaged and skippy? at first, I thought I had a bad set of mp3, but then reflex told me that they were part of the song. still, it does seem a little weird that they would have this much popping in it. for example, do you guys notice that in twoism (the song) the first 20 seconds have some "pops" in it that sound remarkably similar to the sounds damaged mp3s make. Theyre in the same place in every copy of twoism I've downloaded. anyone know if/why BoC dubbed in popping sound effects? |

The Twoism MP3s are edited, incomplete and a poor recording to boot. Expect new BoC before old BoC - M&M still haven't made up their minds on what they are going to do with the old releases. |

I've spoken with HS (hexagon sun) and they tell me that M&M haven't made up their minds about the old stuff yet; they are focusing on the newer material. |

i don't know for sure but i thought disengage was a radio broadcast, and all the tracks are of boc maxima... is that correct anyone? btw, what is m&m? |

Disengage was a radio show Autechre did a while back, and BoC were the guests - all the tracks from Disengage are from BoC Maxima, because at the time Maxima was making the rounds at the SKAM offices. Having a master recording on DAT or cassette would be rare, having the MP3 is not, as most people can get it from your friendly neighborhood file sharing service. |
