Crunches and lateral sit up get rid of "love handles".
However, they can make your stomach look fatter- the more
aesthetic "six pack" muscles are on top of those manily used
for crunches, so your stomach often looks bigger.

Best bet? Either start smoking or get a chest infection-
coughing is the best exercise for toning six pack muscles.

The best exercise for it is called the "admirals chair". You
have to have a high backed chair (think big dining
table/meeting room chair) with arm rests. Keeping your back
flat up against the back rest and your arms on the arm
rests, tense your stomach muscles, WITHOUT leaning forward.
Do 3 sets of 20 to begin then build it up from there.

As to the love handles, I have no advice, I have wide hips
for a man (looks weird, but good for judo ;) ) and it makes
me look like I have bigger love handles than I do.

push ups - put your feet on a bed, or chair or something
like that .. gives them abs just that much more to do :?

Yeah, tense them really hard, usingyours arms to brace
yourself if you need to.

Another thing you can try is breathing exercises. You should
try to force air out (of your mouth) just by tensing your
stomach, then relaxing your stomach and as you do that
closing your mouth so air comes in your nose.

running/jogging does wonders to abs (i think) .. and is
bound to burn some love handle off ya .. as useful as they
may be!
