This games is superb!
Thanks to Resident Evil for recommending it to me.

This is a brilliant game and should be of particular
interest to anyone who likes making or listening to music
(most of you lot then... ;) )

You can find out more about it iew_id=558.

i've never played it myself...

I can't stress how good it is enough, the screenshots
*really* don't do it justice. Ask them if you can have a go
on it (if they have an import DC to play it on)...
Give it a few minutes and you'll be hooked.

I am not an employee of united game artists ;)

I'd been playing it all day yesterday and when kept thinking
about it when going to sleep...
In my dreams I kept getting these "lock-on" lines onto other
people like in Rez!

I'm glad I could have been of service Ceri!

This just serves a warning to everyone who doesn't have REZ,
buy it, rent it, steal it, just get your hands on it!!

I've completed it level 1-5 and the "lost zone". I've
unlocked 3/22 beyond features and 3/9 beyond options. What
else is there to unlock?

Do I just keep re-completing the game?
Does it alter the outcome of the game depending on what
colour scheme I choose in the beyond options?

Why wasn't (isn't) Rez number one in the games charts?

I noticed that in this game for once you actually have to
work to beat the scores on the high scores table. None of
this, 100points to get on rubbish...

Res: I saw coldcut in the credits, but I don't know which
track they do. For some reason I keep on thinking it's the
"Mind Killer" evolutioary one, but ohn the level select
screen, "Fear" (level 5) is down as someone else...

Adam Freeland was playing in Cardiff last weekend, but I
couldn't go as it was my cousin's wedding :( I didn't have
anyone to go with, but it would have been cool.

Asche XL, at the moment I can only access the net through
work, so aim is out of the question for the meanwhile...

I have got to the alien form, the third beam and unlocked
the trance and lost areas. How about you?

I've only been defeated by that twice...
Keep your smartbombs till the final boss and only use them
when it releases missiles.

If you want to do well in score attack, you have to keep
"toying" with the bosses, killing them slowly by destroying
their projectiles rather than the vulnerable bits. You also
have to get bonus nodes by destroying mid level bosses on
the final level. Another way to get high scores is to only
shoot when you have 8 targets locked on- you will score far
more highly than shooting the 8 targets independantley.

95% in area 5 does seem impossible, I think I've got around
75% as my highest!

It's a tribute to the quality of the game that people are
prepared to replay it so much in order to unlock the stuff.

Has anyone noticed how the drums that come in when the level
4 boss turns into a man and starts running sound just like
the break in underworld's classic "Born Slippy"?

93.04% shot down in area 5 (I need 95% to unlock boss attack
mode). I still can't beat the high score on direct attack,
but I've got most of it unlocked now.

Question:
>Why wasn't (isn't) Rez number one in the games charts?

Answer:
Because, the games buying public are fools who buy every
sequel and addon pack and licensed game rather than taking a
chance on something new, the ps2 port wasn't as good as the
DC original, the DC flopped :( , Most people aren't cool
enough to play games for the enjoyment of playing as opposed
to completion, the music isn't to the mass audience's taste.

Wipeout F is my fav game tho. Big fan of the first and the

I read that there are some people who think that Pod racing
inspired Wipeout F! (GOODUN!) When in fact, F-zero on the
snes was the key to wipeout. I still like my fighting games
tho.

Like fighting games? Soul Calibur on the DC still can't be
touched IMO. Graphically, the latest games like DOA 3 Tekken
4 have caught up (at last), but gameplay wise they can't
compete.

I bought snes fzero a few weeks ago. I also have it on the
N64 & GBA.
