Stick to your guns Aminal, say two lesbians/gays bring up a child, the child realises he/she is gay later in life.
What's wrong with that?

...r u with me or against me?
ya, what IS wrong with that? nothing!
theres never been anything to suggest that people w/ gay parents turn out to be gay more than usual...
...and if they DO: 1) so what? 2) its probably only because they understand that that is OK to be gay, so they are more free to feel that way, and wouldn't be in denial for their whole life, like a surprisingly LARGE number of "straight" people ;)

i dated an ex-raver, she didn't even do it anymore, and it was THE worst decision in my life, followed by THE worst 8 months of my life.
Generalization = ravers are heartless, soulless gouls, a least in the states. They never change either.
Ravers suck, dunno about you kidz across the pond though....

So what? Your just saying that the onyl reason people are gay is because they think its ok to be like that? NO. Its a chemical/genetic defect..... { i mean doesnt make them a defect, but in scientific terms, YES its true] they are mutant....

its straight parents "fault" that their kids are straight:)
..lol
but, no, i don think so....
the majority of people will always be heterosexual, because its our natural instinct (for MOST of us).....
...some people will always be gay/lesbian too....... (just like in all mamals) but never THAT much

no, thats NOT what i said.....
thats why ii said: no, they wouldn't turn out MORE gay than w/ straight parents...
..BUT MAYBE more of them would ADMIT to being gay, because their culture would be ok with it.....
..but they would prob. be gay raised by straight parents anyway....
..im just saying a larger percentage might come out of the closet, thats all

well.. this is how i see it: there are raves... and there are parties... raves are parties... but not all parties are raves.. raves only occur when you get the scene full of candy wearing E-tards all gaked out of their minds dancing like fucking idioits in the mud. parties occur when you have a dj, and people enjoying the music... (which happens to be the case at a rave)....
so my response, is yes i goto raves, but never on purpose, i was most likely trying to goto a party. I'll find this out again tonight..

The whole 'Candy Raver' scene is funny! We don't really have that in Europe. Raves in america are more like a Coke advert with really bad actors.

it will be embarassing

i really don't understand why you ppl hate raving so much...i've met a lot of intelligent ppl who go to raves, and have met a lot of posers, and a lot of dumbasses, and airheads...ppl should go to raves for urself...if you don't dig house, simply walk over to the Dn'B rooms, or the trance rooms etc., the reason why i started this topic is because i got offer's to start Djing at venues, and i wanted to know what you ppl would like to see change...but instead this thread has filled w/ hipocratical close-mindedness, and some-how evolved into homosexual upbringings...it's very unfair to profile any group of ppl...be it goths, rappers, ravers, be it by race, or class...I've alwyas respected ppl's opinions, but this thread has made me lose a lot of faith in this board...
also to reply to astrid:
yes! do it ur fucking self! if you don't like it, change it! don't whine about it...or bash it...fucking make it ur own...that's my goal here in seattle, and hopefully elsewhere...

"Why would saying gay in a bad manner like "thats gay" be so bad?"
well, just a hunch, but maybe gay people don't like the word that descibes their sexuality to be used to describe things that are stupid, bad, lame, whatever. it's not a complex issue. it's a simple matter of respect. you can say gay in a negative sense all you want, but don't fool yourself into thinking it's not disrespectful.
you obviously have troubles with the issue of gender and sex. why do think a man can't be nurturing? a gay couple can adopt and raise a child as healthy as any family.

so and people dont like others using the word bitch, or slut, or even fuck, but we all do dont we? So unless you dont swear and mean it in a negative sense then I should be allowed to use the word fag in the same way.

Yeah but the use of words like that is used in a derogatory fashions, so ofcourse its going to be seen as negative. You can't see something shit and call it 'gay' and not expect a gay person (or anyone else) to get upset because you are inferring they are shit too.
