Does anyone own this apparently classic album? I have 3
Paradinas CDs already - Royal Astronomy, Salsa and Mesquite,
and Makesaracket - and they are all rather patchy records.
But I have heard lots of good things about both this album,
and about Bluff Limbo as well. Can anyone tell me anything?

If you like Mike, you need these two albums. There's a bit
of filler (esp on Bluff Limbo), but the rest is very good.
That said, they don't sound a lot like Royal Astronomy,
consult your local file sharing network for samples...

Tango n' vectif is one of his best, but you really need to
get lunatic harness, nothing tops that one

I don't own this, but my former flatmate does and it's
excellent.. got classic tracks like Swan Vesta and mu-ziq
theme. pure bliss.

you should check out brace yourself and lunatic harness
too.. very melodic and spacey drill and bass tracks on
those.

How does it compare with the other albums I mentioned,
though? Because I think they are all really rather weak.

It's better than the first two fo sho (I don't own
Makesaracket so I don't know about that), but please, do
yourself a huge favore and get lunatic harness, you won't be
sorry.

Yup, it's a great album. I love Whale Soup. Sounds very
reminiscent of Chrono Trigger/Xenogears(RPGS).

How can you say those are "patchy albums??

µ-ziq is one of the best.

I have the original/old version..I found it to be
excellent..faultless..it's tight and powerful...cant say
about the new version...I actually like the whole of Royal
Astronomy too :)
but Tango is different..it's more hard edged acid with
excellent melodic ambience layered on the top..closer to
early Aphex or Polygon Window..

Does anyone own Makesaracket, the album he did for Clear
records as Jake Slazenger? Track 5 on that album is
brilliant, although the rest of the album is pretty flaccid.
