i think there is a programme which comes with the Full
Version of QuickTime - it's good

You got firewire? Digital camcorder?

If yes, then use iMovie on the mac. It's perfect.

If you don't have that...i'm not sure what to tell you. I
don't know much about analog capturing.

Mac: Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere
PC: Adobe Premiere
