I fucking love 'brownout'. album ....Great for mixing into
kid606 whom i recently have enjoyed (sounds like a bit of a
twat personality-wise according to the Wire
interview)....anyway, Phonecia is my new braindance fave at
the mo'.........who's with me?!
(the record shop guy says when i bought it 'oh yeah, the
american Autechre'......i think not.totally different moods,
Phonecia suits me better..these days....)

They don't make braindance, they make glitch.

i love brownout too. i haven't heard anything else by
phoenecia though. i thought their earlier releseases were
more electro stuff. brownout is deliciously dark electronica
though.

brownout seems to mostly all be in the same note. I liked
their little warp release ep, it was much less ambient, full
of complex beat patterns.
