There's an auction on eBay at the moment of Autechre's LP5
and the seller says it's the original pressing because
A) it's comes in a rough case (not normal jewel case)
B) it is playable on BOTH sides of the CD

First of all I've seen the rough cover loads of times and
don't believe that to be original/limited .
So if he unknowingly has a standard copy of LP5 does that
mean that ALL COPIES OF LP5 CAN BE PLAYED ON BOTH SIDES OF
THE CD?

Cos the auction is already up to EUR 14,50 and when I can
buy the CD new for EUR 16,99 and it's exactly the same
there's not much point.

I haven't seen the CD in shops for a while at all though,
let alone a different version.
When I say I saw it millions of times, that was when I
didn't know Autechre. It was always near Aphex in the dance
section.

it's not at all difficult to get by though, if you're
comfortable with ordering it online. most good online shops
got it. cd and vinyl.
