red snapper is sort of hip-hoppy sample based music..
sort-of. it actually reminds me a lot of amon tobin.

pure samples and real vocals. some hip hop, some female r&b
style vocals.

my wife is totally nuts over em..I dont mind em..but get a
bit tedious sometimes but it's a nice blend of organic and
electronic stuff..all the instruments they use are real..but
some riffs etc then sampled and processed etc...

Prince Blimey is my favourite..very jazzy drum and bassy/
trip hop..big ass double bass and live drumming and some mad
sax licks..those who are into having a lot of electronic
stuff on their albums may not like it..but it's very dark
and funky..

Making Bones..in supposedly one of the best electronica
albums of the 90's and it is pretty good..more elctronic
than Blimey..some muscular dnb almost but not quite drill
tracks here..it's their trip hop that bores me a bit..but I
would prefer Red Snapper's trip hop to Massive Attacks' any
day..

Our Aim is to Satisfy..the title annoys me because it is
their most commercial album..almost mainstream electronica
goin on here..over produced higly polished and dull..some
good tracks here but too many boring ones as well..but then
again my wife likes this album a lot so..you never know..the
best song here is "Some Kind of Kink"..

Just a hint though..their singles EPs are definetly worth
gettin..with remixes by the likes of Plaid, David Holmes and
2 Lone Swordsmen

I bought Red Snapper's Our Aim Is To Satisfy and it's shit.
It turned out to be a promo so I'm gonna sell it on ebay
soon.

sorry, before I get slashed and slaughtered by everyone in
this thread, let me rephrase what I said:
I think it's shit which doesn't mean that it 'is' shit.
