I can dig some Orbital stuff, but the Orb just plain sucks. Kick-Open Hi-Hat-Kick-Open Hi-Hat, then there's some variation on the fourth measure... and it's seven minutes long. And there are some cheesy samples at predictable spots. Not fun. Junk techno at it's purest.

I've heard a lot of Orb stuff, sadly. I don't like any of it.
Orbital's vastly superior. The Orb stinks! In Slides is my favorite of Orbital's stuff--nice production, I think.

LMAO, orbital Sucks? ok here goes...
How can you say Orbital sucks when they incorperate every different style into their music succesfully? Why is it they have a big fan base? Why is it all of their albums(exception The Alltogether) gotten unbelieveable reviews. Why? Because Orbital is great. What other artist out there can fuse all of these different genres succesfully into all their albums/songs. No one, because Orbital is as about as original as it can get.
As for their 1st album, It's simply known as "The Green Album."

The last song on the album is my personal fav. It's called Midnight. Try d/l it. Some of the other songs on their are Desert Storm, Farenheit FD3(I think it's that version), and Speak Freak. If you get the U.K. release it has another awesome song name Steel Cube Idoltary.
Also, there's a hidden song on the U.K. print name, "I think it's Disgusting."

I have to agree with Revpersona; Orbital's style is very unique and interesting. I can't say it's my absolute favorite, but Orbital is good stuff! The Orb is just plain crap.

Wake up and smell the electronic music, The Orb are Pioneers of fucking ambient-downtempo. Dr.Alex Paterson kicks ass. You kids amaze me.

Even if you insist that they are pioneers, it's still not cool. Just doing something before someone else does it doesn't mean it's something good.

So what if he pioneered that genre? It al depends on what sounds good. And from all that I've heard, it doesn't even come close to my liking of Orbital. Sure some of his songs are good, but that's it.

You want more albums? Did you pick-up the Brown Album?
Also, The Alltogether, their most recent album is good for the sole reason that Disc 2 comes Stacked with awesome B-Sides. That might be another option.

The Orb are only good if you're stoned out of your brains. Then it's nice.
The last Orbital albums wasn't so great The green album is boring apart from Belfast and Chime, brown album's amazing and so is In Sides.
