hi!

i have a new _unfinished_ track done, and i really don't
know if i should continue this track, or if it's complete
crap :/

here it is:

www.schocklage.org/d0n-ein_track.mp3

please listen to it, and tell me your opinion about it. it
has been done with real machines, not with softsynths and
stuff.

ceri: *hint* i asked two ppl about their opinion, and they
said, the sound must be more "dirty". so i will distort the
melody a little bit. but i don't really like the track over
all :/

I like the way it changes about 1.05 min into it. I like the
end 2/3rds more than the intro.

Good drumming and I like the electronic noise that sounds a
bit like scratching.
I think with a bit of work it could be quite good.

Hey, luzid, i think the track is no worse than half signed
IDM shit out there. Although not terribly original or
groundbreaking, but you know your way with sounds...

aneurySm: hm. yeah. i think i tried to make a "cute" track.
but somehow it doesn't fit together. i will work on it

meho: hehe. thanks. i can live with being not worse than
half signed IDM shit ;)

no, really. i will try to improve.

I like how the entire composition isn't tied down to one
definate pattern throughout, I like the pitch shifting
sounds used in the melody and the melody itself. The
organization of percussion was good, but not superb in my
opinion. The whole song was good but not suberp in my
opinion 3.

at least noone thinks, it sounds like complete crap. because
that's somehow what I think. :/

it's really hard to quality-check your own tracks :/

I didn't like the first minute or so at all with those
random scratchy noises but after the 1:05 mark it becomes
quite a relaxing track. The only thing that gets me is that
the sounds all sound a bit cheap although the melodies and
the actual drum patterns are great. This is meant in a
positive way in case I didn't make much sense.
So yeah, keep at it!
