Right on, nanotech. Wreath of Barbs sucks hard. It's only a few good tracks (deliverance, wreath of barbs, and christfuck is ehhh). Boses Junges Fleisch rocked though!

Ministry- the Land of Rape and Honey... i've personally lost interest in the scene, think it has been played out by the mid 90s

Some industrial stuff can become cliched and junky. Honestly, I think KMFDM's new record sucks hard. I think it sounds too much like five different people doing five different things. The guitars are annoying and none of the beats are particularly interesting. And the lyrics all suck. Even the track names are stupid (i.e. urban monkey warfare). Very disappointing record. :(

hahahahaha Yah, I thought the WOB bag was junk! Glad I didn't get it and don't even have CD copy of WOB :)
only CD-R! phew! ATTAK sucks--Brute's art is too... cheesy lookin' too! It used to be just a color, black, and white. Attak has shaded art and just looks like they hired brute to rip off the Invader Zim aesthetic!
I think I'm going to have no music to listen to soon. Aphex is said to be retiring and Trent will soon and the cure are broken up (eh?) and Depeche Mode and Radiohead probably won't be around much longer and Autechre won't last forever! Five years from now, I don't forsee me listening to any new music. It's sad.

i feel that the cevin key stuff is weed industrial...kinda coo' and if you're high you can apreciate it, but do have to say that ohgr is NOTHING w/o him...welt is the shitties attempt at industrial i've everseen...
the only download i thought was great was "the eyes of stanely pain" which i thought was amazing! and a top notch cd! i've gotten the subconscience jams, which kinda suck...and made me feel like...well, kevin...looks like the bong isn't our friend after all...

soundforge, and cool edit are great for this...simply record your voice...highlight it..then distort...

as far as Trent goes..I dont know to me Pretty Hate Machine is the album he is yet to surpass..I mean his sound expanded and hardened exponentially..but still can't beat the raw stripped down power grooves of say "Down in it"..which coincidently does sound like Depeche Mode throwing a temper tantrum..nothing wrong with that..Depeche Mode are the archetype of dark electro..:)

really shocked and disappointed at the path Ogre is goin down..I used to idolize the bastard..the man can really write and throw shards of jagged vocals like a mutha fucka..and now he's reduced to sub nu metal shtick..tragic really

I love Welt. I think it's great. Except for Cracker. Some tracks are definitely crap, but it shows a few good ideas that just didn't get as much attention as they should've.

"down in it is" practicclay the same fucking song as "dig it" by skinny puppy...you can even match up the vocals...
and to think that down in it was half of trents demo tape...(actually all of it, because "purest feeling" got canned before making it onto the demo)
Ohgr, IMO, sucks badly now...and welt is horrible...it was all kevin...all kevin...

Yah, I would have liked to see Ogre put more time into Welt. I could've waited a year or so to see some of the ideas better-developed. The signature Welt sound could've been a good few B-sides or an ep maybe, but for a solo album, he should've done it with more skill, I think.
I hate Download though. Eck. I hate that stuff. Hate it, I say!
