Billy Corgan DEAD

Naphex-Male from Vancouver, Canada on 2001-07-04 00:28 [#00012104]

IMO I think Billy Corgan is a waste of baldness....He
strikes a bad chord in my books. He might have been kinda
cool in the early portion of the 90's with Pumpkins, but now
times have changed and he looks dumb in that stupid Marilyn
Manson garb!!! Maybe he doesn't wear it any more, but
still!....I hate his voice and his
foot-stuck-in-arse-perfectionism! Another thing...what's the
deal with him and New Order? Corgan is washed up and should
not mess with them....soon there will be "The Billy Corgan
Order"...I think it's silly for New Order to be on the road
again anyway!

Mr. Corgan should look up Keith Richards in the phone book
and wallow in some poop...they could wash each other up real
nice and smelly!

If anyone has anything to say about Billy Corgan, or have
anything to add to my ramblings, reply to this message
board.......roar! -Naphex-Male

Ive been an avid pumpkins fan since 89,so all i have to say

Dear Chilled,

I guess I'm tired. I saw SP's last ever show in Vancouver
last year...I enjoyed. I guess I am bitter about Rock n'
Roll being such a toilet. I just wanted people to
"sound-off" about Mr. Corgan a little bit...He was such an
asshole the very first time I saw them in '94...he broke 2
strings on his guitar, didn't bother to grab another one,
played all the lead guitar (selfish, taking the piss out of
James Iha) and made a complete mess of some great
songs....and to top it off, he preceded to say how awful the
people of Vancouver were and how being at Lollapalooza was
such a drag....he is a daft punk arsehole!

I hate that term IDM.....it's music.

Well,if you knew a lot about the Pumpkins,Billy is known to
be quite controlling, and I honestly dont think that anyone
can tell me it didnt make some kick ass music.

(PS-me love their concerts!)
I remember back in the day when Rhinoceros was an
underground hit...

thats strange about those slagging comments,he said he loved
us in Baltimore a couple a years back...was it 97? not sure.

I know all about Billy Corgan dude! Who doesn't? I know a
lot about the history of music and music personalities of my
generation....all kinds! It was in 1994.....Pumpkins
headlined Lollapalooza w/ Nick Cave, P-Funk Allstars, L7,
Breeders, Beastie Boys, A Tribe Called Quest etc......I
remember he was nice to the crowd last year though....so I
guess he was in a good mood....hahaha!

I used to like Smashing Pumkins.. a little before they got
really famous... what was that one album called... Gish.
Yeah.. that was 1991 I believe. Then I hated them.. when the
released Mellon Collie & The Infinite Sadness. That pissed
me off. Ever since then [i even though this when i liked
them] that Billy Corgan was a fool. I never like his voice
very much, and they.. just lost their *magik* as a band to
me. I don't really like Rock anymore... with the exception
to old 80s music, and Nirvana, and friends. So.. yeah.

BILLY CORGAN = NO!

So why did you title it billy corgan dead. YOu scared the
shit out of me....

takeshi on 2001-07-04 10:41 [#00012220]

i finally liked the band enough in the mid 90's to buy a
ticket to their concert and the keyboardist dies and the
drummer overdoses. after that i sold my ticket cause i
figured the tour was over. never did get to see them.

Mark from London (United Kingdom) on 2001-07-04 14:08 [#00012242]

Billy Corgan is very much love/hate only because he writes
good stuff when left to do it for himself but when he teams
up with people he produces complete shit, to know that all
you have to do is listen to the Hole album 'celebrity skin'
he completely fucked that up although i think that he will
learn a hell of alot touring with New Order, I also think
that alot of his older music may have been influenced by
Kurt Cobain. but even though i still think the smashing
pumpkins later stuff kicked ass

Naphex-Male from Vancouver, Canada on 2001-07-05 01:11 [#00012334]

ya sorry about the Title of this board! If he died I
probably wouldn't have done this.....hahaha!
