Lou Reed, I'm really into him lately. The classics as well
as the Velvet Underground, obviously, but also some of his
patchier 80s work. I'm very into "Street Hassle" and "Lou
Reed Live". Do you like Lou Reed? Given XLT's current
febrile atmosphere I'd suggest that if you feel Lou
Reed is too gay, or the wrong sort of gay, maybe don't say
so here. If you feel very strongly about the issue then can
you please create your own I think Lou Reed is the wrong
sort of Gay thread. Thank you.

the live 1969 version of "what goes on" by VU is
mesmerising, one of my favourites; I am less into his solo
material than his band stuff
