I omega stubbed my toe into my exercise bike while looking behind me. Broke my middle toe. It's taped up and healing Wife had her gall bladder out last week. We're holed up watching Star Trek TNG (currently in on season 6, we just watched the one where picard dies and Q sends him back to his academy days and he becomes a shitty ensign instead of captain. "Tapestry" it's called). And I'm playing this revamp of the old MMORPG Everquest called EQ Legends that is entirely soloable. Officially made too. I think I last played EQ in 2002, and am mainlining nostalgia but also enjoying it in a new context. I'd never play the original again because I don't wanna deal with guilds/groups/tryhard annoying fucks, so this solo variant peaked my interest. Not reading any books right now. Not really listening to much music, except in the car I keep playing this one track what are you watching/reading/hearing/playing? |

me and the wife are usually watching anime but we're binging downton abbey again. not reading anything atm but should get back to finishing god emperor of dune, was almost finished it. listening to lots of music, this gelli haha album has been stuck in my head, it makes me happy when im down. playing grim dawn, new dlc came out called the fangs of asterkarn. good arpg diablo style, scratches the itch. |

I tried watching Project Hail Mary and got so disgusted watching Baby Goose being oh look at me I'm so adorable waking up from my space coma stumbling around in a spaceship while the cute robot says funny things. I skimmed the rest and he saves the world by frolicking with little granite my little pony aliens. Truly wretched. Gulag for Baby Goose. |

PRO TIP: After reading a particularly good book, never be tempted to have a look on Goodreads to see what other people think about it. And if you do weaken and visit, then be prepared to dampen the very violent and very real urge to track down and kill the people who adopt a feeble-minded approximation of the author's style and who write a Phd-length treatise of painful tripe about a book they've now put you off of by association. |
