new monitors arriving next week so hopefully improving, and
tempted to buy the 303 plugin soon but I have to check my
teeth first cos I got gum infection, these are the news, in
the meantime LAZY_TITLE

percussion is kinda a concrete wall, constantly reminding
the same structure/pattern. melody is background/minimal. I
think some sort of creepy pyramid ruins exploring game
music.

the monitors arrived! playing the song with them, yeah beat
too preponderant and melody too thin. thanks for playing!

Ok b4 I slink back into the shadows in the scaffolding

pigeon1 orchestration is great. I mean just needless to say,
very saw2 right? The detuned downturn makes it, but im
probably not describing that in a professional way.

I managed to click a bandcamp link a few days ago with
reworked tunes, but when trying to revisit you had deleted
it. You get the honor of the most delete happy xlt user in
history and thats non debatable! I listened to all 4 trax at
the time and they were clean, but I think they were
iterations of your tracks that id heard before and probably
already commented on

thanks for listening, glad you like it! at least that one is
up

jokes apart I quickly abandoned the idea of reupping
iterations my tracks cos extremely unhappy playing them thru
the new speakers, will only be releasing a collection of the
darkest ones probably, will see but not obsessed at putting
out stuff like before, spammed that shiet all around lol

Yeah dude track is legit and so we're the ones u deleted!

No real advice for editing process... everyone is so
different...

But I personally like stephen kings method for writing a
novel. He writes fast and hot, then shelves the book for
months and comes back with a fresh eye, editing rather
ruthlessly.

That takes willpower tho. My own style is to export as .wav
and listen to it many times while mildly drunk for like 2
days. I usually know the problems tho within a couple
listens. Fix overt problems and repeat process a couple of
times. Im really trying to curb my drinking which has also
curbed my enthusiasm for music making to a degree, and I'll
just have to figure a way over that hill.

you're the kindest but I think its mainly bullshit when I
listen to my favourite music on Spotify and even more when I
successfully manage waves like in the sawII lookalike track

I getchu but I think of it like this...

Aphex twin-4. One of my favorite tracks ever, EVER... kinda
poorly produced lol. It peaks and crackles its out of
control in the mix.

Anyone analyzing it would say any oneohtrix point never
track is better made. But is it? Make what sounds right to
you........... but do test it out on a few speaker setups. I
usually do my comp speakers, gaming headphones, and car
speakers

Anyway man u really take care and keep it up. I'll check
stuff out when I can. Peace

you...........

exactly mate that shit didn't sound right

but do test it out on a few speaker setups.

exactly what im going to do. but I discovered the headphones
I have are totally dishonest, anyway the new plan is to make
an ambient album and a collection of darkies, all through
the new studio monitors, promise juicy or death. peace out!
