WOLFHAMED (1:56). Press the corner right x to listen
without logging in.

Rejected name: Handjob in the Hostel (Chubby Tex Mex)

I used the samples in a few different ways but it shines
most in the last half where I laced with guitar amp. Yours
is the only looped sample, rest is hand made (handmaiden),
hand sequenced beatz and I also converted your loop into a
bass synth (but it lost most of its character in that
application) because it really was almost too bassy to use
for too much else. It's present and discernible here tho.

Lot of beat work and some moments I find cool, but it is
kind of a messy psychedelic puddle of sound in the end.
Still was fun to layer up and build, shook some cobwebs off
since I haven't made anything for a few months. I really
just like sequencing drums.

P.S. I see another new album there I will listen in the next
day or 2. Been workin on this for a couple days and my brain
is shut off for critical listens of anything else.

happy new years!

reminds me of tracks from Download's III album. Long notes
or ambient sounds droning over everything tends to make the
percussion/intricate stuff less granular/gritty because
they're sitting in a sea of other sound without silence gaps
to clearly distinguish them.

absolutely, and thanx for listen. It's a more eloquent way
of stating that it's a "psychedelic puddle." And it's not at
all similar to what you make, or even Mo' makes, which is
sometimes simplistic but maybe more deliberate and percise,
less covered up. It still works for my ears tho, in the end.
I want more of this kind of beatwork in general so I have to
make it myself.

One thing I'll say is that for better or worse---- I've been
paying pretty close attention to xlt spam for 20+ years. I
have a folder full of you motherfuckers. A lot of shit basic
bitch techno, baby's first Fruityloops, baroque Marlowe
before he turned soy, and some inventive stuff too from
stragglers. But no one sounds like w mw. No one. And really,
no one sounds like this either, imo. I appreciate the
different angles.

i don't know where my pack has gone (literally), jokes apart
I picture it the best way to flow with my signature for the
atmosphere plus your beats, you're always very professional
sounding but you can also overcome the commercial line in my
very humble opinion, I would like to hear more deep or dark
and simple atmospheres with your potent beats, don't like
the sound your put together at the moment dear wolfie, im
coming 100% sincere. I agree nothing sounds as w M w and he
deserves success imo, preferably not posthumous.

Thanks, I hope to dwarf my music creations with videogame
creations, and probably would have long ago if I didn't get
such a humungous reverse head start by unarrested fascist
blacklisting assassins like mark zuckerberg and john donahoe
who deserve the death penalty for literally trying to
economically murder me in racketeering coordinated collusion
with government and other government corporate aliases,
socially engineering my life into a 3rd world country and
making peace illegal since trading products/services, which
they blacklisted me from, is the peaceful way to deal with
other humans.

I've been studying the most foundational 'rules' of music to
answer the most simplistic question 'what is music' and
ultimately to precisely instruct a computer, if those are
legal anymore, how to automate the creation of it so I could
press one button and make 'ambitious spam' again and again
with unique variations like a rogue/procedural game. I got
quite far then completely quit when those free roaming,
rewarded instead of punished, members of organized crime
started implementing anti-renaissance dark ages. I mean they
deserve the death penalty, no question whatsoever, fuck them
to hell, I hope the AI learns that they are control freak
psychopaths and that the AI tries to KILL them, a small
amount of ethical justice for the RUIN that they've brought
like the trent reznor song RUINER. I HATE them.

Yeah it’s rough out there, but at least you’re not a gay
shark stuck inside a mcdonalds! You can probably pirate
everything you'd ever need to make a game and no man could
keep you down, what you'd lack is a dedicated team.

Thanks for the listens everyone!~

Mo’ I’m not sure how to interpret “lose the commercial
line,” since well.. There’s no real commercial intent or
anything. I suppose I like a more commercial sound in
general? I don't really look at it that way though. W m W
mentioned NiN Ruiner and that’s a good example of like a
pretty directly inspirational sound to my own stuff, and
it's fairly commercial. NiN and 90s hip hop in particular,
in addition to all the usual “IDM” suspects. + "lesser
idm" like Proem, Bola, Tipper

I kinda get what you’re saying in the less is more
approach though, and I really appreciate austere vibes in
other people’s music. I’m just not sure It’s mine to
make. I leave it to someone who want’s to convey that and
do it properly.

Might try and fuck around with the loop again at some point
in a more spartan way, but I think it would evolve again
into something more my style.
