Studies show that hammocks also improve your sexlife,
or the nonsex part of it. And workplaces too.
They plan to equip deskjobs with work hammocks.
Since the development of flatscreens and phone plugs
that actually is quite doable.
Plus its much easier to spend the night at the office.
Just switch to hulu and skip wife trouble.
Next morning everyone will be impressed
you're already at work.

it is true, its nearly impossible to shag in a hammock but
if you find yourself sleeping in one your chances improve by
a huge amount; it's like one of those things that retired
marketing people write books about.

i had one i kept around for over 15 years. the first and
only one i ever bought. when i was younger, my father would
wrap us up in the hammock and then swing it all the way
around. i bought mine when i first moved into a house with
roommates in my late teens. one of my roommate's buddies who
was like 300 lbs sat in it and it touched the ground and i
thought it was stretched out for good. somehow it was one of
the few things i managed to hold on for years out of all the
moves and things i've lost or left behind. when i was living
in my condo sometime in the 2010s, i set it back up after
all those years between some trees out front of the complex.
i actually had some really interesting thoughts there.
sometimes other people would use it, so that was good to
see. then one day it was gone. i don't know if it was
faggoty hoa type bullshit or if the lawn crew was lazy and
said "fuck this" and straight up cut it down to mow and do
maintenance (the ropes were cut with only the knotted parts
left behind) but it disappeared one day and that was it. i
don't have anywhere to set one up anyway and it's probably
been a while since i've been in one, but i'll get another
one some day. i know they make portable i.e. non-tie ones
and there's lots of trees by my work. i had one factory job
in my early 20s where a guy there would often set one of
those during break. i usually skate during lunch, but i
could go for one of those hammocks on some days.
