Kraftwerk is a really odd name for the musical style of the band. Never really thought about it until today in the car. It has a nive ring to it though and is easy to pronounce in other tongues. I wonder what the discussions were on finding the name, back then. |

Yeah in english it reminds me of playing with craft paper and stuff you did in playschool which really fits with something like Tanz musik |

their melodies are so warm and lovely, i always thought that was the point of juxtaposing it against the robotic personas... love to hear/read about their influence on 1980s US electro stuff too eg. NYC stuff eg. people breakin to KW tunes, but can't really think of anything definite to link to |
