one thing i have noticed is kids have bags of really fucking potent weed, but can't roll a joint... last week i roller's privileged 2 on the head and nearly fell in the river i quite like 'em, theyre fucking mental. |

California (especially the bay area) has had potent weed ever since I took an interest in it ('99 or so). To the point where I only smoked shitty weed if it was a friend's homegrown operation or something. Anyone who had "bammer" got laughed at, it was very rare. Was always glass pipes around here, so few could roll a proper j either. I can't really, myself. + @that potency even as a teenager I only really needed 1-2 hits anyway, a full joint even between 3 people would always floor me for hours, in an unpleasant way. Nowadays I barely touch the stuff any more. |

we just passed the law on april 1st. weed is legal in germany now, (with some restrictions) havent smoked in like 20 years now, but stuff usually was really strong in my area unless it was some homewgrown which smelled like rodent litter. living close to the netherlands we always had access to the good stuff or prolific growers. kids ive gotten to know born around the 2000s seem cool. protesters. musicians, sprayers, some startup kids even. discovering the world the same as i did back then, but with some advantages, like the internet, more likeminded kids and more tolerant parents. those that stay inside to play fortnite allday and whatnot seem rather unsocial and underdeveloped in speech & knowledge though. im really happy youth doesnt smoke as much tobacco as mine. its a killer, with no purpose. |

my pops is growing two plants in his backyard now in germany :D ciggies: I don't know man. I think Stephen King was right, as a long time smoker. "Smoking is the dumbest fucking habit on the planet." But it certainly has a purpose. Tobacco is one of the finer pleasures that I know. It will just kill you eventually. I had an intensely introspective (while upbeat and positive) experience on LSD one time where I was considering pretty much everything I wanted to change about myself. It all seemed in reach. "Just fucking DO it man!" But when I came to cigarettes I was like "well don't change THAT. That's your favorite thing!" It's a problem. |
