so what's you're favorite ae video?

this one is fun (autechre wasn't involved in it, though)

maybe you can say they themselves think they're *not* a
visual medium, with them doing gigs in the dark

the basscadet video is nicely nostalgic

i like this still with this song

Second Bad Vilbel and Gantz Graf are fun. but maybe too
'normal'. like: the music is a world on its own and these
video seem tied to our own world

someone commented about fermiums video havin been inspired
by this film from 1966.
it features the same girl anarchy.
seen this one on german french culture programme arte.

fermuim is a great track, but,
second bad vibelle probaply still one of my all time ae
favs,
music and video iust supereb and floor filler.

never heard nonimage, hypnotic sweetness,
could have been on saw2

I don't really love music videos, cause they can overwrite
my mental images of a track a little bit (same reason I
don't like to watch a movie after I've read a novel,
usually-- I picture things a certain consistent way and like
to preserve that). I've probably seen only 10 "official"
music videos in the past 2 decades.

But gantz graf was cool.

and this fan video for plyPhon is neat too. A bit
close to what I picture in terms of percussion
representation.

best music vid of all time for me is windowlicker.

<3

the story mentioned is good to know, btw (story, or
parable). you can also just seek that out, like i want to
"The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas" - Ursula K. Le Guin

wolfmister: yes, we feel the same

small complain about the Second Bad Viblel video is that
it's shorter than the original track. that makes me sound
like a purist, though

plyphon
some bits in that are spot on how i see that tune,
is synaesthesia is not a neural fuck-up but an extra
dimension of language, or something
