I hate the labs at university, not so much the rooms- although they are too hot- but the people in them, they're so noisy and stupid. I'm waiting for a tutorial that I'm 90% sure the lecturer won't turn up to, and then I've got 2 hours to kill so I'm looking for some fun dialogue to waste my time. Anyone want to engage in mindless banter? |

I spend a lot of time in the 24 hour lab here...I agree there are a lot of loud annoying people, people talking on mobiles. It's supposed to be a work environment. |

I like the way that even God has a machine gun and there isn't anything in the Allah blister pack :) XLR: I remember reading on an apology page where someone wrote: I would like the Educational Department to apologise for misleading me into thinking "University is where smart people go". I couldn't agree more- even in red brick universities where you need 20+ points to get in you get people who are dense. |
