my parents lent me a simple synth as a kid, it was horrific ^^ now, playing with sound is always a good idea, at any age. but i have no idea who this is marketed to, never met a grownup that is into barbie, nor a kid that is into programming sound, but then i dont have to buy it. id rather have makers build anything for anyone, than one size for all.

maybe a paint job would have been saving you ressources then. ah well its not that easy with all the descriptions printed on :/
its easier with retro consoles.
does it make any difference using it then? havent even watched the video i must admit.

it kind of does, you feel well with your equipment. really love a red keytar and the red sh101. silver plastics always looked trash to me, dont know why i took the silver behringer usb keyboard. guess i wasnt the daredevil i am today, to pick red, or it was more expensive, probably the latter ^^ there is just something about barbie i find highly unattractive,
im guessing its the artificialness of it and the backwards thinking i associate with it. well thats culture and socialization i experienced.
did you know pink/rose was a mens color for many centuries? its funny how a color can evoke so many feelings.

did you sell the other one? im guessing its value didnt decrease. if i was analogue id probably keep both and use em to sequence different synths. easier to tell them apart now with the different colors too.

keytar and sh 101 are really cool i want a white guitar (think that's what Jan Hammer has). red for sh 101 might indeed be best

well, it's black, the Jan Hammer one
googeling images of keytar, i find Stevie Wonder has a white one
also it looks more gaudy then how i had it in my mind's eye

a wonderful thing about the keytar could being able to stand while jamming in a melody or bassline. feeling the rhythm with your legs for a groovy song, if you´re that skilled that is. i´m not ^^
stevie has em both + the rhythm & skills :)
