I know this is a bit like Reddit

Mine's Polygon Window or Quixote for years Quixote was my
number one but Polygon Window is challenging it now

I really like Supremacy II/ Audax Powder as well., i love em
all

There was meant to be a completes SOSW sequel you know,
dunno if its different than the selection of tracks he put
up on soundcloud in that SOSW 2 playlist.

i think you could have put Schottkey or Hedphelym on SWOS
cos they are tracks that have that eerie mood, mystic mood

"Yeah this is that rather high rate of sampling
I think thats it picking up an awful lot of shit though

Can you smell that shit?

{Yes I can actually, yes I can}

I can yes, I can smell an awful lot of shit there. And a lot
of faeces as well, there's a lot of shit smothered on the
microphone I think that could be the main drawback actually

I mean don't you think

{Well I don't know quite where the shit was (drowned out
by...)}

John is an ugly bastard yeah

{wait I'm not}

Yes, we are now sampling at 18 kilohertz which is half the
last frequency, do you feel half the size you were last
time?

{well.. I don't actually, but um, I was quite impressed with
the last one}

Yes there's not enough cunts on the last one, not enough
smelly cunts {laughter}

There's a, lot of um

{Fanny flaps}

Yeah, a lot of fanny flaps and um, John, well like I said
before is a lump of shit, and he smells like cat shit or
more like dog shit wouldn't you say?

{Oh, that's quite complimentary, that is, quite
complimentary}

Yes but um, John has been arrested for eating dog shit off
the school {laughter}

UT1.
sometimes its not the composition but the athhmosphere{-}
that carries the track. that voice, its kind of just a
gimmick but i love to listen to this going all devilish
alongside the reverbed percussion.

apart from that
portreath harbour and redruth school
for the same reasons i love drexciyas mystery world.
these are unique realms, evolving moods and non standard
tracks.
interestingly enough those tracks were only releases with
the reissue,
maybe because they were not considered club material?

quino phec certainly more of a saw2 track,
but so uplifting

bike pump meets bucket
still in the top afx ever, whichever release this is
included in

wtf,
wondered when jeskola buzz came out,
installed it within a minute and crashed the pc when setting
the midi keyboard, but upon restart the post i was about to
send was magically preserved. wonders of modern
technology...

UT1 makes me think of the Cormac McCarthy novel the road.
desolation grass growing through the pavement. Actually just
made me think of going out at the height of the pandemic
when everyone was staying in would have made a great
soundtrack to that

I really like the opening sound in Iketa like was the nip
wonders if they we're made in the same year, probably quite
likely I reckon 1990

Yeah the other tracks you mentioned of course are superb,
its only by minute degrees that I can pick a favourite track
really probably be if it is really me next year or something

that was a forlorn world in that novel
totally destroyed
UT1. seems at least a little more energetic ^^
as if at least there was something to gain from stoically
moving on

walking along the tree line of an ancient wood at dusk

yeah its more of a being tailed or hunter/prey atmosphere to
me
creepy from either perspective
wonder what it was like hunting back in 10.000 bc for that
matter,
or being trailed by a pack of wolves

just think there are scenarios that we can't replicate any
more cos the way the earth has changed, would be cool to
have a holodeck woolly mammoth hunt, i guess the closest you
can get is one of those video games, but its no way the
same.

by those pads

yes, plus the whole perspective is hard to replicate from
our point of view. when memeory hacking would be as advanced
as to let you forget most f your life and simulate the brain
of a hunter/gatherer and its mystic relation to the world,
that´d be amazing.
its even more amazing that a somewhat limited stimulus as
music can enable us to feel moments like these just tickling
our acoustic nerves. the brain is a funny thing.

i think that synesthesia is present in absolutely everyone,
but they often just aren't conscious of it... like, posh UIs
would not require sound design otherwise
being nicely relaxed and listening to anything is like
watching a movie i reckon, but so much better, engages all
the senses..

Yeah i think there is a similar process going on, probably
manifests in people slightly different ways, I can't
describe what happens to my brain in these circumstances,
