idm may be dead, buts its well the running exposition is a treat for gearheads featuring rare, authentic and original machines used by artists from the very beginning of electronic music. a timeline leads through the expo. there are headphones to listen to samples at every stage. (bring your own headphones if you can, there are small jacks to plug in to). some nice photos, comics, art and flyers of the club culture and development of styles. and a multi surround system dancefloor featuring eight of the Kraftwerk remixes with 3D projection. pretty neat! |
