i was already blessed enough to have seen them for the first
time several years ago, twice in my lifetime would have been
too good to be true. oh well, maybe down the road they'll
come stateside again...

Rusty you should have a vibrating pad connected to the net,
so when Autechre announce a new tour or album he is woken up
gently. like a batman signal.

no he receives vibration via his new installed state of the
art anus it only vibrates when sean and rob think about
making a new live tour at the same time

i dont know,
i feel idm is avoiding germany altogether,
except for berlin and berghain every once in a decade.
belive it or not, but it was cheaper for me to jet to london
overnight!
not planning on reapeating that though, its nasty.-._.

I think he just knows, like remote viewing Autechre like in
the end of 2001 through a giant monolith that isn't really
there at the end of his bed

you´d think düsseldorf was the epicenter of electronic
music, but i heard kraftwerk had to wait a long time for
acknoledgement in their home country. for all i know i could
have run into ralf and florian on multiple occasions, but
seeing them live over here is quite rare. never heard or
seen a gig in this area. maybe im looking in the wrong
places like resident advisor.

caught them live in 2015 twice (Seattle and SF) touring with
Cygnus

almost as good as an insane clown posse show

true story:

at the SF show (venue: the mezzanine) there was a black dude
with short dreadlocks sitting on sidelines just below the
backstage entrance.

I asked "are you cygnus???" and he looked me like "who the
fuck is that. What we all look alike to you?" I said sorry I
guess not and walked away.

An hour later cygnus was playing and I caught that same dude
dancing in the crowd. I walked up to him (this was pre-covid
times) and whispered directly into his ear:

"that dude on stage, that's who i tought you were."

And he was like "aahhh I can totoally see it" (they had the
same hair). I gave him a handshake and a bro-hug and walked
away.

Never got the chance to hi to cygnus. I would have said "yo
I'm wolfslice on xltronic. my avatar is a dead old woman
holding a baby." I did see Rob from autechre coming back
from the smoking area but I didn't want to bother him.

In Seattle, I was at a table next to Chris Clark before his
set, where he had 3 dainty mixed drinks before playing.
Didn't bother him either.

That seattle show festival was awesome. Autechre, Richard
Devine, Chris Clark, Tim Hecker. A bunch of my favorite
names,
