yeah i can see doesn't appeal to everyone (the bare-boned repetitiveness can be "boring"). but i like his music: it's honest, down to earth stuff and couldn't have been anywhere else than detroit-
anyway, i forgot to add some of my favorite tunes. so i made an "extended" version (for those that care).

his tunes have basically three flavours, and that's it.
-motown sample loop tracks (day, gonna luv you) -vocal-based 80s house influenced tracks (i wanna know, games that we play).
-purely instrumental/analogue tracks (take ya pik, nik, desert eagle)

it is what it is and i wish him all the success he can get. what i really acknowledge is the history of house. i heard the path from vinyl djing to analogue production in the clubs of chicago and detroit (and crantock) was a breakthrough in music. basically one of the reasons why we´re all here now.
