Few listens and a reiteration that I'm really enjoying this style. This one is aquatic to my ears. maybe it's because i'm playing this game called Subnautica (excellent underwater survival game, crashlanded on an alien world), but yeah this whole thing is underwater to me today, and I'm quite enjoying it. A note: I mentioned last track that your music feels saw2y, particularly the ambient riffs that are in the driver's seat. Just to be clear I didn't mean ambient music has roots in SAW2, that'd be a ridiculous dismissal of a ton of great stuff before that era (Eno- Ambient 4 being one of my tops). But to my ears, your short looping, viscerally thicker, darker pads spawn from a SAW2 direction. Others did it first, but RDJ did it best, as is often the case. You're doing the sound justice for sure. |

Also I like the way the beat locks in fully at around 1:50. I still might turn down those two little looping stabs a touch, but that's just your style and it should probably just be embraced as a unique touch. |
