politicians are threatened and offended more and more in germany. they claim it has increased so dramatically, mostly due to social media usage, that they have increased punishment and persecution of it. publicly referenced examples have often been women and green party. offenders often from the right wing/nazi spectrum. never thought somebody would actually be attacked anywhere. and i would like to know more about this particular case. just read about him on wikipedia. it reads he regrets supporting the iraq war, opposed syrian war intervention, supported iran opposition. was a christian who opposed lbgtq. admittedly terrorists havent been too picky about their targets, but thats not exactly a clear motive from a fundamentalist standpoint to me. |
