consider yourself lucky to have some dancing space during afx gigs. must be a tough one for organizers. in eindhoven i was happy to catch some time in the sweet spot although he drew folks from all the other areas like a super magnet ^^ had to leave ceephax 10mins early though. the first warehouse in manchester worked rather well too. although i was too shy to get to the stage at first. they had more sets of speakers in the back of the hall and it sounded good while being unattended by the crowd so i danced right there for some time until svalx and brisk helped me over to the stage. anyway my general advise is: it does help if you actually move your arms .. and. your..feet when you dance to remain some space.

That’s what I would do prol
I don’t see Mr D3troit being real dancey... he loves the idm and goes hard on knowing tracks but I see him cuddling up to his mates along a wall or something
I dance like not as good as a white boy but i Would have fun, I’m so pissed 😡

good thing is he could stand anywhere in a crowd and still peek on top of rich´s desk. guy is tall.
time for booglaoo will come again, just be patient. in the meanwhile there is at least onee nice vid of a us show on disclaimer tube. had it running on a projector and felt right within the crowd.

sorry i think it was this 2019 warehouse gig sound, filming & editing are top notch
the two coachella 19 sets are well worth checking out too,
are without video BUT with hidden mixing gems.

yes, loved the fact they marked track times on that upload.
im afraid i dont have any footage of me bumping around in happy afx joy,
but i spotted myself at bangfaces rephlex night ´12 and in the junglemania 20 documentary. also i had split seconds of ceephax in eindhoven at strp and rephlex night in amsterdam. those were good times.

btw the german open air festival "fusion" is planning to happen with massive testing in the summer of 21. never been there, but if they can make it happen maybe others can too. the concept is to test in big cities on departure by the organisators. also at the local trainstation and shuttle buses of the venue. at entry point. results would be clearing your chipped bracelet. usually reliable testing takes roughly 24 hours. university and hospital in rostock created a concept to cut down that time to 90 mins with massive labour and local labs involved. during the course of the festival there would be testing aswell, within pools of people to save time and ressources. if a pool is positive all members of the pool are drawn out for testing and the infected can be treated or sent home safely by the organizers. sunday they would clear the whole venue for another testing and reopen the same day. it sounds like insanity and there wont be any profit made. its more like a political statement. it wouldnt rule out the risk of infection either, but it could be reduced to a minimum. and you would be able to dance without a mask.

now it sounds kind of insane to me, to hoard 35.000 people in a pandemic as tests afaik can only assure you havent been infected like one or three days ago. maybe they can give you cleareance for one to three days. with this neverending situation i guess it could be worth a try. especially since the cultural part of this world has been on a complete lockdown and struck hardest. seeing how it goes could provide useful information on events following.
