bundles and bundles of tracks no doubt, Syro tracks sound kind of labour intensive like Drukqs tracks, i think Richard mentioned there were only 3 outtakes from it, and we got 2, Marchrom and End 2. Perhaps there is even more i'd like to know! |

Syro is at most OK. I'm not a fan. After drukqs it sounds like highschool homework. There I fucking said it. Also hi Elusive. |

Syro has soft sounds like marshmallows. Drukqs is more coarse to the ear. The difference is like acrylic vs oil painting or something. |

Glad it wasn’t Drukqs 2 (ie more of the same). Both are great albums. Have to say is strongly disagree that Syro sounds like school homework. It’s a fucking tout de force. |

I beg to differ. Syro is simplistic. Boring in a way. It doesn't break any new grounds. One can say Caustic Window is simplistic too, the difference is that Caustic Window makes you want to break a wall with your head, Syro is simply less energetic. Much simpler to program than drukqs. It also doesn't cover as much genres as drukqs did. It's a matter of taste and I get it but it didn't take as much effort to record as drukqs. Think new Autechre albums. They are just robot farts compared to Untilted. There I've said it again. |

Syro has loads of lush melodies, but yeah different strokes for different folks clearly, nowt wrong with that! I hope the next album is different again |
