Happy 2020 everyone!!!
Long time, long time... My regards to all who remember me!
I’ve basically been working on- well- paying work, so I can fund my music and all that. Haven’t posted here in ages, but I still rock IDM electronic vibez hard in life and art!
Last month, I finished an album I was working on for more than 2.5 years— DL is here:
https://bearfaced.com/bff09/
Funny thing is, after 23 years of rocking the underground, Cosmic Spring is the only album I’ve ever actually completed. This album was an adventure in discipline and determination to finish! Also- it got finished cuz my system crashed, so it also was a friendly reminder to take care of the things that one cares about. Also reminder that time passes with no regards for anyone’s situation. We always gotta make our own situation.
Aaaanyway... Here’s my message to you all— for xlt crew, braindance crew, and watmm crew, and the whole scene since inception— hello, and happy 2020:

Much love— I wish you all the best. May your 2020 be the best year ever.
✨✨✨ ✨🙏✨ ✨✨✨

Hello, all! Thank you for the warm wishes. So far 2020 has been awesome. Have also written some wicked choonage, which is a promising start.
Crazone- got to display a bit of your work, thank you! Since then I did another startup which didn’t do too well, now this startup we did is doing really well- doing apartment rentals in Tokyo. Hope you’ve been doing art!
For those who can’t download- I dunno what the issue is- sorry! But there’s a link on that page, and you can download the analog rip I did from my phone (which the bootleg was taken from). Actually, here:
777gogogo - Cosmic Spring analog rip 16 bit DL on
My computer still out of commission. Gotta get it fixed. Been writing music on Yuumi’s computer, who is part of 777gogogo. Yay.
Looking forward to all the awesome IDM lazer 2020 has to offer! Wooooooooo

BTW- thank you all for connecting and listening and watching— PHUTURE AS PHUQ
I really want to release a CD album this year; before the format dies down even more. I know I can do it myself- and I might do that— I dunno. Been sending demos since I was 15 or so, and the world has changed a lot since then! I’m 38 now, and this IDM thing has always been a dream of mine. The CD aspect, anyway. Whatever the case is, I know to focus on the music- and my computer crash taught me to be faster if I give a shit— and then see what happens. Music is fucking insane. Godspeed to all in the IDM Underground. 2020 is your year— you got this! Electronic music worldwide recognition is at an all time high. 2020 is what all the basement training has been for!
What’s interesting is that I’m starting to feel a lot of energetic crossover with hip hop and IDM. I feel like the IDM world is a blues story of sorts, where kids work on hundreds of tracks and send demos, until they are no longer kids. I started guitar about 13 years ago, and I eventually found a way to incorporate electric guitar into electronic music. Playing so much blues made me realize that IDM world has a lot of blues? Maybe one day I’ll write some songs based on spending a life in the proverbial basement. But then back to hip hop- I think electronic musicians need to get back on their feet. What’s really inspiring is seeing a bunch of shitty trap producers share their work and try to make it. If IDM scene pushed harder, then maybe we can reach the potential of ourselves.

Thing about IDM and hip hop—- I think IDM heads gotta learn from hip hop and strut more and show their shit like they used to. People pushed the envelope so hard in the mid late 90’s. But since we can do anything now with technology, I think it’s important to realize what one feels strongly and then choose it and do it. We have to push our expression limits with IDM or it can be just meaningless noises.
