i was in a secret mausoleum, that his sister let build for
him. there was a weird hallway where there was a bust of
nietzsche on one side and a bust of hitler on the other
side. hitlers bust was fucked up of course

Nietzsche produced a lot of great one liners and some
incredible insights and was also a total shit in many ways.
He wouldn't have been so bad if Lou Salome had at least
given him a handjob. But she rejected him outright and he
went on to live as an incel recluse and invent Nazism. boo
to that, man

talking about aphorisms, cioran was also a good sport, who
called nietzsche much too optimistic

Ha ha! I downloaded some Cioran but I dare not read it.
Maybe if I set my ebook reader to black lettering on a black
background.

Let's do it. If Nietzsche had married he'd be merely the
19th century's Jordan Peterson. Still not good, but an
improvement.

"vom nachteil geboren zu sein (the trouble with being born)"
a collection of aphorisms. no beginning, no end. just open
to a random page, pour some ardbeg and have a blast

the good thing about suucide is if you fuck it up you get yr
tory-baiting state benefits theoretically increased,
long-term effects permitting. plus life gets better but
that's a secondary concern

"As art sinks into paralysis, artists multiply. This anomaly
ceases to be one if we realize that art, on its way to
exhaustion, has become both impossible and easy."

i like what he says about suicide

i also like how he says people don't know anything. but i
don't understand really why they've edited those two things
together. i don't want to not commit suicide because people
don't know anything. it makes me really sad, actually: it's
a cruelty of life. editing those two instances the other way
around would have been more bearable?
watching it again: he does say it like it's a catharsis to
realise this, and i believe it when he says it (he says it
adorably, like it's something naughty), but i just can't
hold on to that feeling. probably makes me a pessimist

Cioran is kind of like Garfield. Haha, the fat cat hates
Mondays, that means it's OK for me to hate Mondays. But...
what if we changed the world to create better Mondays?! This
is the radical concept Garfield and Cioran refuse to
confront.

I mean as Tony already spoilered the end of episode one.

The heaviest burden: What, if some day or night a demon were
to steal after you into your loneliest loneliness and say to
you: 'This life as you now live it and have lived it, you
will have to live once more and innumerable times more; and
there will be nothing new in it, but every pain and every
joy and every thought and sigh and everything unutterably
small or great in your life will have to return to you, all
in the same succession and sequence—even this spider and
this moonlight between the trees, and even this moment and I
myself. The eternal hourglass of existence is turned upside
down again and again, and you with it, speck of dust!'

Would you not throw yourself down and gnash your teeth and
curse the demon who spoke thus? Or have you once experienced
a tremendous moment when you would have answered him: 'You
are a god and never have I heard anything more divine.' If
this thought gained possession of you, it would change you
as you are or perhaps crush you. The question in each and
every thing, 'Do you desire this once more and innumerable
times more?' would lie upon your actions as the greatest
weight. Or how well disposed would you have to become to
yourself and to life?

- Nietzsche, The Gay Science

anyone thought of having 'Side Pronouns', like an alternate

nah

according to judaism, you reawaken in this world, death with
be swallowed up forever one day because of God and the
Messiah. at that time things like deep space travel will be
possible thanks to new technologies. nobody will go hungry
any more. no more wars among human beings, people will no
longer study warfare. unless you've been a prick all your
life, in that case you end up in some kind of splatterhouse
torture chamber forever.
