I know Corbyn doesn't like the EU because its a vast faceless bureaucracy with undemocratic components, I don't like it either much, there are very good aspects to it as well, a lot on the continent seem to be a bit more socialist so they tend to counterbalance the worst parts of tory policies, I don't want to leave the EU if it means the destruction of the NHS and workers rights and worse living conditions of most people. IF they figured out a way to circumvent that then sure lets leave the EU but I doubt they ever will |

i'm so divorced from it all i didn't even know if i was still in the salford constituency until just now. it's a safe labour seat with a majority of 20,000-odd, and i'll probably vote for the greens though i have a terrible, visceral fear of a tory cunt getting in. the only other guy i know voting for the greens had a serious head injury 20 years back and scribbles indecipherable political screeds all over the whiteboards here. so i'm in good company |
