40 minutes lifespan

Flies of the type ioligoneuriella rhenana live for
40 minutes. They don't have a mouth and thus starve to death
soon after birth.

Fascinating little fault of revolution there, I guess they
spend their time making worms. Today my thing was
bacteriophages. They look out of this world.

imagine if that happened to humans, the last stage was giant
moth and we flew above the forests and reproduced laying our
cocoons in the trees then fell and were swept up into huge
mounds in the morning

Impressive that they can grow and lay their eggs in such a
short time while not even being able to breath. Tough life.
