ugh it's Tumblr: The Movie

Rey holds up her lightsaber and says "for the honor of
Greyskull" and suddenly Chewbacca is a Gay and Yoda is trans
and wears a hijab

the ultimate franchise for soy boys, bug men, and SJWs

If the treatment meted out to the original characters in the
last two films is anything to go by, I look forward to
Chewbacca being executed by hanging, Wedge coming back only
to burn alive in the wreckage of a Y-Wing, and Lando being
castrated.

If The final frame isn't Walrus Man winking at the camera,
suggesting the whole saga was just some shaggy dog story
told in the cantina, I'll be upset.

I want to see them break the fourth wall, and fly an X-Wing
past Earth, which a young George Lucas catches a glimpse of,
goes "huh?", rubs his eyes, walks off into the distance
whilst the Star Wars tune swells. AND CUT TO CREDITS

Movie trivia: the script actually read "it stinks" for the
first thing said in the trailer but they changed it to "it's
instinct" and went with it

Might as well put reject harry potter music in it, all these
movies are made by the same people anyway.

a simple wiki-government search:
On a sword, the crossguard, or cross-guard, also known as
quillon,[1] is a bar of metal at right angles to the blade,
placed between the blade and the hilt. The crossguard was
developed in the European sword around the 10th century
for the protection of the wielder's hand.

See how stupid culture is, decades and centuries back people
were inventing cameras and airships and shit, now nobody has
the slightest clue how anything even works.

The girl will be the next artificially selected idiot
magazine girl and the guy will be the next will sniff
starring in ass wide shit 2.

The masses used to have good taste, michael jackson and
mariah carey make good damn music, it's not cuz those were
the good old days and the kids should get off my lawn, it's
that culture was hijacked, and everything was
hijacked by some sort of borg diarrheararians, which is
probably the name of one of the cgi alien species in the
movie. hey the popular fiction is as imaginative as the
touchscreen facebook population. think how dumb the person
of average intelligence is; half of the people are even
dumber than that.

This shit is so funny, it's just full of so much fail, maybe
that's secretly why they keep making them. if solipsism is
true, then *I* made the movie, I'm sorry about that.

Is that how to "succeed" on twitter by the way?- maybe have
a bot scour "tweets" from 2+ years ago and copy paste the
most popular ones pretending they're your own?

like being slowly digested by a sarlacc. Man this movie is
surreal, and deep.

I see the Game of LOLs guys have bailed on doing their own SW Trilogy.

Why? It makes no sense? This is the HOTTEST IP in culture
today, building on over 40 years of brand loyalty and
storytelling. And remember, these films are only for kids,
and there's statistically never been more kids on the planet
than today. Surely they're all clamouring to see more Space
Moralising? So why drop this now?

The only people that didn't like Last Jedi were neckbeards
and incels, and they're the minority right? I guess it was
the fact that the world's largest ethnic group, the Chinese,
gave it a hard pass, for some inexplicable reason (not
Progressive enough?!?!?!? Too few powerful women? Just the
one asian?)... I hope this means Rian Johnson gets to
complete his trilogy where he subverts all our expectations
and makes a Star Wars film shorn of any tedious WHITE MAN
FUCKING STAR WARS and gives Disney what they want; a
meaningless tableau of action scenes that the Chinese can
use to graft on their own story that fits their narrative.

And if it fucks off Whitey, so much the better.

A senior monk and a junior monk were traveling together. At
one point, they came to a river with a strong current. As
the monks were preparing to cross the river, they saw a very
young and beautiful gay muppet also attempting to cross. The
gay muppet asked if they could help him cross to the other
side.

The two monks glanced at one another because they had taken
vows not to touch a gay muppet.

Then, without a word, the older monk picked up the gay
muppet, carried him across the river, placed him gently on
the other side, and carried on his journey.

The younger monk couldn’t believe what had just happened.
After rejoining his companion, he was speechless, and an
hour passed without a word between them.

Two more hours passed, then three, finally the younger monk
could not contain himself any longer, and blurted out “As
monks, we are not permitted to touch a gay muppet, how could
you then carry that gay muppet on your shoulders?”

The older monk looked at him and replied, “Brother, I set
him down on the other side of the river, why are you still
carrying him?”

Relying on the faux-outrage that mermaidmeh disingenuously
contrived about "gay muppets" makes you look like a bigger
cunt than usual.

Well done. Really. Stay arch, meta and insincere, it suits

I think we can all agree the original 3 are still great,
everything else is up for debate. Personally for me Star
Wars ended in 1983, that's where I choose to get off. that
doesn't mean I wont eek some enjoyment out of the new ones,
at least they aren't the phantom menace, I will probably
enjoy the new tv series as well to a certain extent. I
suppose what im saying is that I personally would have been
happy with the original 3 films and nothing else, my
imagination can fill in the rest, I don't need to see a
storm trooper with no helmet
