I do like that head over heels song they did, but they are
like a yoghurt that has been left at the back of the fridge,
well out of date!

i quite like that song too, was on the donnie darko

time

never seen that before. i think the comedy jew-beard might
be frowned upon now, in this era of blackface apologies

yeah just goes to show how my mind is geared, I didn't even
really notice it, everyone now would say anti semtic trope
or what not

it's just that the choice of other characters includes a
fucking chimp, in that "wacky" context it looks a bit
dehumanizing. dunno, i'm sure wavephace could tell us

yeah, it wouldn't be acceptable now for obvious reason, I
guess in the context of the time it probably wasn't see as
anything but having a few wacky characters around

yeah that's another top one, the angular solo early on and
the big bass rumble near the end are really haunting. it's
only really the "wahey, let's avva cockerney kneezup guvna"
blur i don't like

yeah the pastiche sort of kinks on steroids bollocks,
parklife still has some good tracks but yeah could do
without hearing the title track ever again

did you ever listen to any of graham coxon's solo stuff? i
liked "the sky is too high" is a lot but i was getting into
electronic stuff and hiphop at the time so i never really
followed up on it. gonna have a revisit now

no I haven't, I follow him on twitter for some reason
though, he always seemed more likeable than damon albarn

the bassist is a cheese making wanker who hangs out with
David Cameron, he is a good bass player though
