Rate music like Pizza...

..ok I know it sounds odd but it actually makes sence if
you rate a artist like u would rate a pizza. Example: the
beat is the bread and the music is the topping; like
Board of Canada is high quality bread with exotic
topping, and Aphex Twin is Really good bread in all
different shapes and forms with topping you never seen on a
pizza before...does anyone get my point?

Anyway..i'm gonna use this "Pizza-rating" to rate artists
from know on...it's a lot funnier than a technical
rating...

Prodigy is like ten different slices put together on
one big deep-pan Pizza

Points: 4630 Status: Lurker

the bread 'd be very thick and dry in the beginning, but
after chewing a lot it'd melt slowly and get a better taste
every minute....

the topping would fit but still be unrecognizable

What kind of hallucinogen mushrooms did you eat in your last
Pizza, Junktion? I want them too...

This topic is hilarious :D LOL

plaid (at least what i heard from them :)) would be an
excellent pizza, with a soft and spicy taste...

coil would be a weird pizza, very good but with unidentified
strange things on it...

squarepusher (at least what i heard from him :)) would be a
pizza with green pepper and pimentos... i would see a green
pizza if it that is possible, excellent taste, with crunchy
bread :)

I actually think there would be gumdrops on Squarepusher's
pizza =)

If I was to liken some of the Aphex music to a pizza, it'd
be like this:-
The pizza guy arrives with the box, it smells good, yet when
you open the box, and look at it, it's just bread - no
tomatoe, no topping at all - very disapointing......!!!

:)

In fact, it looks like its been in the box for over a
week!!! ;) (bits of mold growing on it!!)

black olives on it...

offline uzim on 2002-04-22 09:35 [#00188603]

tool pizza's topping would be arranged to form symbols, and
there would be at least something purple in it...

squarepusher = deep fried pizza.

afx = the starter buffet salad bowl you get in pizza hut,
(no beetroot)

mira calix-shit slime garlic stuffed crust.

george michael-a bit of snot rolled into a stale thud of
dough.

did you know that joy divisons 'closer' is apparently one
of georges favourite albums? no kidding.
