I went to London Comic Con last week, maybe the week before,
I don't remember. It wasn't my idea but I was happy to tag
along. I saw Shatner but wasn't prepared to pay £75
cash for his autograph. My friend went with the sole
intention of getting Lee Majors' signature, for a reasonable
£50 I think it was. I got Chekov's for £35 (he looked like
a sad old monkey and misheard my name as Stan). A guy from
Space 1999, Quentin Pierre, was a lot more fun and I was
happy to pay for his autograph. And, my favourite, was Ash
Tyler from Star Trek Discovery, who I realised only while
getting his signature, was also Clem Fandango in Matt
Berry's "Toast of London". What a swell guy.

I did enjoy it a lot, I feel at home amongst the geeks,
though I balk and having anything to do with them.
