i just think it's funny that people who have problems with religion will openly bash something like christianity, but once you ask them how they feel about the jews & muslims they clam up because "muh_racism" or "muh_islamophobia", even though christians, jews, & muslims are all one in the same i.e. religious people and all adhere to the abrahamic belief system. kinda weird how brainwashed & conditioned people are like that, isn't it? religion is religion, regardless of what religion it is or who follows what. you're either for religion and all it's peoples, or you're against religion and all it's peoples, regardless of who they are. |

i agree religion is all mostly bullshit, especially any sort of fundamentalism, but there are a few good tenets in each system. the problem is obviously human interpretation of like, reeeaaally old texts from when we were all borderline idiots (someone's IQ from 2000 years ago was much less than what our IQs are today) and yet people still take that shit at face value these days in the modern world. of course maybe 2000 years from now we'll all be labeled heretics & heathens when some new religion takes over the world and indoctrinates everyone, regardless of how smart & enlightened we think we are now. |

Actually i read a book by him, he is also a regular guest on Nigel Warburtons philosophy podcast. I am not a conservative, and i dunno what Scruton said exactly, but calling him a nazi and white supremacist seems stupid. I am starting to really dislike this outrage culture. |
