racism-storm-adviser-Roger-Scruton.html

Seems like a great bloke really. About to be sacked for
speaking his mind on Islam. Lol.

haha that nearly just caused me to choke on a bourbon

i thought this was going to be a thread about roger "popeye"
scruton from the adrian mole books, how disappointing. just
another "outspoken", supposedly tell-it-like-it-is cunt of
an unelected advisor. on a whacking great salary no doubt

do you believe the muslim brotherhood invented the notion of
prejudice against muslims umbro? or that the chinese are all
replicas of each other?

(the crouton remark caused me to inhale my biscuit i mean,
forgot the followup button)

yeah I have to say his wilful ignorance is unexpected, if
the Chinese are replicas are he suggesting they are cloned
by a queen like in alien, or there is some giant fortune
cookie shape generator spawning them

lol sorry would want that on your obituary, "died inhaling a
bourbon biscuit" would be funny if it was Noel Edmonds
obituary though

i'm not sure, perhaps he's going on about chinese schooling
or top-down bureaucracy but i think he's using broad-brush
stereotypes to play on yellow peril racism. he's a
deliberately faux-controversial magnet for ukip types if you
ask me

yeah I agree with the fact they always reverse engineer
western technology and don't seem to encourage creative
thinking, there is definitely something to criticise on that
perspective

i just think it's funny that people who have problems with
religion will openly bash something like christianity, but
once you ask them how they feel about the jews & muslims
they clam up because "muh_racism" or "muh_islamophobia",
even though christians, jews, & muslims are all one in the
same i.e. religious people and all adhere to the abrahamic
belief system. kinda weird how brainwashed & conditioned
people are like that, isn't it? religion is religion,
regardless of what religion it is or who follows what.
you're either for religion and all it's peoples, or you're
against religion and all it's peoples, regardless of who
they are.

all organised religion is a load of poisonous bollocks to my
mind, couldn't care less if I was called Islamophobic, I
think that's the one thing I would agree with his, wielding
that word is a sort of a way of inhibiting freedom of
expression

i agree religion is all mostly bullshit, especially any sort
of fundamentalism, but there are a few good tenets in each
system. the problem is obviously human interpretation of
like, reeeaaally old texts from when we were all borderline
idiots (someone's IQ from 2000 years ago was much less than
what our IQs are today) and yet people still take that shit
at face value these days in the modern world. of course
maybe 2000 years from now we'll all be labeled heretics &
heathens when some new religion takes over the world and
indoctrinates everyone, regardless of how smart &
enlightened we think we are now.

less is more is useless gits, people go crazy, loses hair
and screams in the attempt to interpretate those books.

yeah I think it was a vital step for the development of
civilization, social cohesion but its more of a hinderance
now,

I often wonder if they truly believe the Quran or just use
it for their place in a hierarchy like catholic priests,

there are torah scholars that have studied it so deeply they
can recite it just as a muslim cleric.. the creepy ones you
hear coming out of telephones

yes, its beyond bizarre, when I see the kids rocking back
and forth reading some religious text and learning it like a
parrot, it seems like child abuse

Actually i read a book by him, he is also a regular guest on
Nigel Warburtons philosophy podcast. I am not a
conservative, and i dunno what Scruton said exactly, but
calling him a nazi and white supremacist seems stupid. I am
starting to really dislike this outrage culture.

i agree its some kind of cohercion but dont relate it with
child abuse, it just doesn't match. on the other hand they
could all become engineers, while the best i could do now is
photocopies.
