The sort of repetitive (tribal) but chill (whatever chill
means) patterns remind me of the Download III album a little
bit. You often do a thing where the beats/melody sit topsy
turvy/precariously like in seemingly at-odds time
signatures, or at least a little puzzly to intuitively
figure out initially, but it sounds good because of it.

stands between late 80s in tems of actual material and early
90s in terms of experimentation, you can kind of feel the
wonder about of acid jazz but its when you get the clocks
working together that stands up from average shit

thanks dude. to me it seemed like the patterns ive been
making are very regular and im glad its not too boring. its
pretty cool u can feel something in it that is off time
somehow
